Meliá Hotels International once again stands out in the main travel review website with the obtaining of 186 TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence; a figure that increases year after year as a result of the strategic commitment of the company to raise quality and satisfaction of its guests, which has been valued and recognized by thousands of customers around the world.
As Gabriel Escarrer, Vice President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, explains, "we continue to improve in all reputation rankings, and I am particularly proud of this recognition, as it comes directly from the opinion of our customers. Having their trust is the best reward for the effort we are making to improve and elevate the value of our brands and hotels in such a competitive environment. "
Tripadvisor is the world’s largest travel review website and awards its Certificate of Excellence to company hotels which provide positive experiences and satisfaction to thousands of guests based on their hotel reviews and achieving a minimum rating of four out of five. 71 company hotels have also been included in the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame after having received the Certificate of Excellence for 5 consecutive years.
Hotels in all the different company brands have received the Certificate of Excellence, with highlights including hotels such as the Meliá Palma Bay in Palma de Mallorca, the INNSIDE Zhengzhou in China and Meliá Paris La Defense in France, which have seen their quality and service vocation rewarded in spite of only having been open for one year.
Company strategy centres on repositioning hotels after their renovation and upgrade, allowing the company to enhance guest satisfaction and improve its online reputation. With the support of Reviewpro, Meliá Hotels International uses the latest technology to monitor and measure the reputation of its hotels and their competitors in the most important travel reviews websites, pioneering the evaluation of the impact of online reputation on hotel performance.
